Before the code, there was hardware.
I trained as an avionics engineer. For five years I set up drones, built electronics and worked on car systems. That is why the software I write today is built for a real factory floor. Pick a stop and travel in.

Agricultural drones
My first hands-on work was in the field, not an office. As an intern I helped set up heavy multirotors that spray crops, and learned how flight controllers work and how much a field test teaches you.
- Technician intern · Hardtech Center (Agropod startup)Worked with heavy drones and saw how a hardware startup runs day to day, from the workshop to marketing.
- Multirotor design with CATIALearned to design the frame before flying it.
- Drone technician intern · Raya Owj ParvazSet up agricultural spray drones and configured their flight controllers.
- Educational article on dronesDrone types, subsystems, how to build and set up a multirotor, and a worked design of a heavy agricultural multirotor. Published by the Civil Aviation Technology College.
A system is only as good as its weakest part on its worst day. I still think this way about software in production.

AAMS · passenger drones
In early 2022 I led the Shahid Tehrani Moghadam team at Iran's national design competition for Advanced Air Mobility Systems (AAMS): passenger drones and flying cars for cities. Our team made it to the final stage.
- National Flying Car Design EventRun by the Presidential Office, the Emad Center of Amirkabir University, the National Elites Foundation and Amirkabir University of Technology.
- Team leaderI represented the Shahid Tehrani Moghadam Research Institute and led the team through each round.
- Final stageThe team reached the final round of the event.
Leading a team to a fixed deadline taught me to cut scope, review work early and decide quickly. I use the same habits when I ship software.

Electronics & the airport metal detector
I studied avionics and also worked as the college's electronics lab technician. For my bachelor's thesis I built a handheld metal detector like the ones used at airport security, from the circuit up to a 3D-printed body.
- Assembly intern · Vira Gostar Yazdan MehrTested assembled parts and cut assembly errors and rework.
- Electronics lab technician · Civil Aviation Technology CollegeChecked, calibrated and repaired the lab equipment.
- Avionics internship · National Air Traffic Control CenterSaw aviation electronics at work in a live control center.
- Electronics course organiserDesigned and ran a course on Arduino and AVR programming, LTSpice, Proteus and Simulink.
- Handheld metal detector for airports (HHMD)Designed, built and tested a prototype with a printed body. Presented as my bachelor's thesis.
- Balancing system with a PID controllerPID tuning, a simulation, and finally a working balancing rig on a microcontroller.
Hardware does not let you guess. You measure, calibrate and test again. I debug and test code with the same discipline.

A black box for cars
At the Shoroo Innovation Center I was part of the team on two automotive projects: a black box that records what happens in a crash, and a car computer built on AUTOSAR.
- Vehicle black box (EDR)Captures, processes and stores critical vehicle data so a crash can be analysed later. We took it from the feasibility study and proposal through the second and third product phases.
- Car computer on AUTOSARThe study phase is done and the project moved into simulation. A prototype comes next.
- PreScan · MATLAB SimulinkVehicle simulation and model-based design.
A crash recorder is a logging system that must never lose a record. I think about audit logs and data pipelines the same way today.

Printing, teaching, selling
3D printers became my workshop and my classroom. I kept a fleet of them running, taught others to use them, and then opened a small shop that sold what we printed.
- Head of training · Civil Aviation Technology CollegePlanned and ran courses, kept the content up to date and taught students, including drone courses.
- 3D printer technician & instructor · Shahid Tehrani Moghadam Research InstituteSet up, maintained and repaired FDM printers, and taught students and faculty to design and print.
- Founder · Pixel 3DAn online store for 3D-printed products on Bale, Telegram, Instagram and Rubika. We ran production, supply chain, CRM, marketing, finance and sales ourselves.
- Course on automation and AI agentsFour intensive online sessions on building workflows and agents with n8n and Make.com.
Running a shop showed me what operations really look like. That is the problem I solve today with Metsa ERP.

Drone R&D
At Setare Penhan Pars I led R&D on subsystems for civilian drones: radio links, collision avoidance and flight tuning. It was my last hardware job before I moved fully into software.
- R&D designer & section head · Setare Penhan ParsMade the case for each R&D track and built the drone subsystems.
- Transmitter & receiver boardsPrototyped and built the boards.
- Anti-collision systemCollected and processed sensor data to test and improve it.
- FPV setup with BetaflightBuilt custom flight presets from flight data.
- InotexRan the company booth and presented our products to clients and partners.
Collect sensor data, clean it, then decide with it. That is the same loop I now build with Python ETL and LLMs.
